Shipping, Handling & Pickup

Pick up at our shop

  • No extra charge
  • Hours 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • B & G is not responsible for items left over 30 days from completion and no refunds will be issued for items not picked up.
  • Custom cut items up to 16 square feet will be wrapped in brown paper, larger items will not be packaged or wrapped.  If you require special packaging this must be specified at the time of order, and it will incur an additional charge which is dependent on the type of packaging specified.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the vehicle is suitable to transport the product in a safe manner.   There should be a large enough area for the material to lay flat with no other items in the way or to use a truck large enough to stand it up and tie it to a wall.
  • The customer is responsible for supplying soft materials on which to transport glass.  B & G will not supply blankets, cardboard, rope, Styrofoam, or other items to aid in the transport.  Glass does no play well with hard items like metal, concrete, stones, or other glass, just to name a few.
  • The customer has the right to inspect paper wrapped products before leaving the building.  After leaving the building B & G is not responsible for any damage to the material that may occur including breakage, chipping, and/or scratching.  B & G will replace items that are found to be defective before leaving our building at no charge, and we will make them available for pickup again as soon as is humanly possible.
  • B & G Glass Service or its agents will not be held liable for any bodily injuries or damages to the vehicle and other items that may occur during loading, unloading, and transportation of these items.
  • B & G will replace items that are not made within our Size Tolerance, see our Return Policy.

Delivery on our truck.

  • We offer delivery on our own trucks within a 30-mile radius of our location for a fee.  (Enter your Zip Code to see if your area is available and the fee) (Note for programming: This is done after the material is chosen and priced)
  • Delivery is to the door, nothing more.  Anything additional is an added charge.
  • The customer has the right to inspect paper wrapped products before the driver leaves.  After leaving B & G is not responsible for any damage to the material that may occur including breakage, chipping, and/or scratching.  (Note we must address the 1-day policy for our wholesale customers)
  • We cannot give an exact time for delivery, but we can call ½ to 1 hour before.
  • B & G will replace items that are not made within our Size Tolerance, see our Return Policy.

Shipping by Freight, UPS, FedEx, or USPS

  • Additional charge for packaging and freight, you will be sent an email with these costs.
  • Any obvious defects (damage) to the outside of the package must be noted on the driver’s delivery ticket.  If the products are refused due to obvious damage this must be noted on the delivery ticket.
  • Take Pictures of the package before opening, this protects both of us.
  • Concealed damage must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product.  Take pictures of any damage.  Any damage note reported within 24 hours will not be replaced or refunded.
  • B & G will replace items that are not made within our Size Tolerance, see our Return Policy.

Order Cancellation

Almost everything we do here at B & G Glass Service is custom made. Please double check your order before submitting it.  If you do submit the order and realize that it needs to be changed, contact us immediately at 610.372.7868.  We will work with you to correct your order if possible.  Once processing has started orders cannot be changed.
