Tempered Glass
Heat resistant to 400-500 degrees. When fully tempered the glass fractures into small, relatively harmless fragments. This reduces the likelihood of injury to people as there are no jagged edges or sharp shards. Also used for shelving, tabletops, doors, auto door glass, etc. Available in 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 3/8",1/2", & 3/4" clear
Laminated glass
Laminated glass, often called "safety glass", consists of two pieces
of glass bonded together with a plastic interlayer, or polyvinyl
butyral. Laminated Safety Glass consists of two or more pieces of
glass and one or more interlayers of PVB permanently bonded together
under heat and pressure. Annealed, tempered, heat strengthened,
chemically strengthened, tinting, and one-way or transparent mirrors
can be incorporated into the laminated unit. For improved thermal
and acoustical performance, laminated glass can be also combined
into insulating glass units.
Laminated glass products provide resistance to penetration due to
the PVB interlayer that can only be penetrated or broken by a
weapon, sharp object, or intense heat, while normal glass can be
easily broken with the impact of a rock. When broken by impact,
laminated glass tends to remain integral in its frame, minimizing
the risk of injury from sharp edges and flying or falling glass, and
strongly resists penetration by the impacting object or person.
Typical applications include: Entrance doors, sliding
doors, shower and bath doors and enclosures, railings, elevators,
exterior curtain walls, office partitions, schools, sports stadiums,
airports, hotels, and factories. Available in 1/8" (clear only) &
1/4" clear, green, bronze, light gray, & dark gray.

Bullet Resistant Products
Available by custom order - contact us with your specific needs.
Glass Clad Polycarbonates
Ballistic products are
designed to provide high levels of ballistic protection.
Polycarbonates like Lexan, have the highest impact rating of all
transparent thermoplastics for burglar-resistant glazing, impact
shields, electronic housings, machine guards.
Polycarbonates consist of
multiple pieces of glass and polycarbonate bonded together by tough
aliphatic urethane interlayer. Laminates constructed with single or
multiple cores of polycarbonate sandwiched between thin lights of
strengthened glass are primarily designed to resist prolonged
physical attack.
Available by custom order - contact us with your specific needs.
