Specifications 

Aluminum Framed Units from B & G provide a high quality, durable enclosure. At a glance, they may resemble the stock units available at any home improvement center - but look closer and the non-corrosive, superior quality will be apparent.  Enclosures are manufactured in the USA by Alumax.
FRAME FINISH: Polished Gold or Silver aluminum (standard) Optional painted or satin finishes available
GLASS: ¼" safety glass (laminated glass) or tempered glass - depending on application. Standard glass is clear, gray or bronze. See samples in our showroom for optional patterns available.
OPENING: Hinged (pivot) door or sliding door depending on location & customer preference. The roller assembly on our sliding doors assures smooth door operation.
OPTIONS: Handles – Hinged doors come with an aluminum handle.
Sliding doors come with handles or towel bars.
Etched Glass – for a truly customized appearance (i.e. Monograms, murals, etc.)  Aluminum framed units can be used with tile, fiberglass, or solid surface (Corian® and cultured marble)  
& are suitable for the following applications:
 - Free standing enclosures · Tub enclosures
 - Neo-angle – corner units · Steam Bath
INSTALLATION: Most units are CUSTOM MADE - our experienced staff at B & G Glass must measure to obtain proper dimensions to assure the custom enclosure fits properly. No installation instructions are provided by the supplier for the custom units, therefore all custom units must be installed by B & G Glass technicians and will be guaranteed leak proof. Some STANDARD STOCK UNITS are available for customer installation.
DELIVERY: Approximately 3 weeks after receipt of deposit, and confirmation of all measurements & specific design details.
PRICING: We offer free, no obligation estimates. Customer's specific application type &  preferences of materials will determine pricing for all units.

Frameless or European Bath Enclosures add a touch of European flair in a frameless design - for those who insist on the finest in luxury. Let B & G design a masterpiece for you that is refreshing to both the eye & body – sure to meet the requirements of the most sophisticated homeowner.
HINGE & CLIPS: Solid, Polished Brass. Also available in Polished Gold or Silver as well as the new satin finishes. Call us for available samples.
GLASS: 3/8" tempered glass (hinged doors) – with special notches for hinges and clips and high quality polished edges. Standard glass is clear, gray or bronze. Sliding doors are 3/8" tempered glass.
OPENING: Hinged door or sliding door depending on specific location and customer preference.

INSTALLATION: ALL UNITS ARE CUSTOM MADE. Our technicians will measure the room to obtain precise measurements to assure the enclosure fits and functions properly. The frameless units require very close tolerances and careful installation. Final measurements are made after the walls are installed. Frames less enclosures are only sold installed.
UNIQUE FEATURES OF FRAMELESS ENCLOSURES: No gaskets! Vinyl gaskets detract from the style & beauty of the glass. In addition, vinyl gaskets are a maintenance item prone to prompt discoloring – taking away from the simple, clean appearance of an all glass enclosure. Since no gasket is utilized, minor leakage at the joints may result. The water spray should be directed away from the edges and leakage towel dried.
DELIVERY: Approx. 4 to 6 weeks after receipt of deposit, all measurements & design specifics.
PRICING: Due to the variables involved in a custom enclosure - it is impossible to give an exact estimate until field measurements are completed.
