The purchase & implementation of our new computerized glass cutting system is just one of the many steps B&G Glass has taken to remain the area leader in glass related services and quality.

In October 2006, B&G Glass installed a state of the art, CNC glass cutting system – specifically purchased, installed and implemented to improve our service & quality to our customers. This system was manufactured and customized for us in Milan, Italy, by Z. Bavelloni.

Features and benefits to our customers provided by our new automated cutting system include:

► Single entry – the new B&G Glass order entry system directly supplies product orders to the CNC machine, helping to “mistake-proof” the process by reducing potential for errors.

► Precision accuracy – to the 1/100th of an inch.

► Waste reduction - due to improved optimization of materials keeps costs down.

► New labeling system – Each piece of glass and the outside of package are identified by printed labels. Unique description fields can be customized to meet the needs of our wholesale customers.
